Description

This twenty problem worksheet aligns with Common Core standard 8.F.B.4. In this worksheet students figure out rate of change and initial values of a function based on points, graphs of the function, equations of the function, and verbal descriptions. They will explain what type of lines have a zero slope, what type of lines have undefined slopes, what a positive slope looks like, and what a negative slope looks like. They will also write an equation for a line in point slope form and slope intercept form. An answer key is included. 10 page PDF. This can be used for homework or as an in class assignment.
