Description
This Math Sort Activity Bundle includes all four of my 8th grade math sort activities. Topics include rational numbers, simplifying algebraic expressions, solving equations, and angles and triangles. It includes a total of 320 math problems. Sorts for 5th grade, 6th grade, and 7th grade are also available in my store.
These are the 4 specific sorts included. Each includes 4 different sorts related to that concept.
(1) 8th Grade Math Sort - Rational Numbers (80 problems)
(2) 8th Grade Math Sort - Simplifying Algebraic Expressions (80 problems)
(3) 8th Grade Math Sort - Solving Equations (80 problems)
(4) 8th Grade Math Sort - Angles and Triangles (80 problems)
The sorts are designed so that students solve problems and then sort them under the corresponding Answer Card. After sorting the problems, they flip over the cards and try to unscramble the funny words and phrases on the back of the cards. Who doesn't want to figure out math problems when it turns into a "plump, angry, cruel, llama!?!"
Topics include operations with rational numbers, simplifying algebraic expressions by combining like terms, solving two-step equations, solving equations with variables on both sides, finding missing angles of triangles, and finding missing angles by using angle relationships!
