9 Collaborative Writing Prompts -Distance Learning (Essay and Narrative)
Share

Description

Use this Digital Writer's Notebook using Google Slides to get your students excited about story-telling! This is my students' very favorite thing to do in our writing class. This file includes 9 separate prompts (6 Narratives and 3 Essays). The narratives include an engaging (and sometimes creepy) first line prompt that encourages the students to think creatively. The essays are more straight-forward -yet still interesting with topics like vacations and least favorite meals. The fun and unusual thing about these digital notebooks is that each students will receive same prompt and work out of the same slideshow. Each student will write his/her own version of the prompt and add the text to a subsequent slide. In this way, the prompt will have a chain of entries after the prompt. If you are hesitant to try this digital notebook strategy, then simply adjust the settings to "Give Each Student a Copy" and then it will become a traditional digital worksheet that can be submitted to the teacher.
