S.T.E.M. activities may seem daunting when teaching young children. This is a fun STEM activity that I created for my students to do before Christmas break. They will make a train out of cookies and candies while doing a lot of different math activities! I made a song (Make A Train) to accompany this STEM that sings about using basic shapes to make a train shape. This STEM has additional pieces that my other STEMs don't have....there's a rubric for both First Grade and Kindergarten (based on Florida Math Standards), there's an exit ticket, and there are writing papers.

My kids were so excited to do this STEM...I hope yours enjoy it as much as mine did!
