If students have learned the divisibility rules in the past, you can use a matching exercise to see if they know which rules are true for which numbers as a refresher.


Give them the rules on sentence strips, mixed up, of course, and then ask them to match these rules with the appropriate number for that divisibility rule...

The students enjoyed learning tricks to help them with multiplication, that they did not learn previously. Divisibility rules help my students that are not strong with their math facts, grasp how to determine what they can divide a number by.

Thank you for the free divisibility riddle! This will be great to hang in the classroom when we get to it for math! I teach fourth grade and this will also be a great addition to the math notebooks for my students to refer to. Thank you again!
