Description

Ahoy! Are you looking to take your class on a high sea adventure?

Students love pirates, and teachers love the engagement they get when they teach using themes that keep children interested.

This glyph is designed to accompany the book "How I Became a Pirate" by Melinda Long and David Shannon. The book is not included in this resource. If you don't already have a copy, it is a great book to add to your collection. My students LOVE it! {This glyph requires a few extra craft supplies: wiggle eyes, glitter in green and gold, and craft jewels.}

This lesson includes:

*Directions for creating the glyph

*Templates

* Pieces for a whole class graph (Simply cut out and glue on poster board. This makes this glyph perfectly adaptable for kindergarten.)

*Two recording pages for students to organize, represent, and interpret their data

*An opinion writing with graphic organizer

DID YOU LOVE THIS RESOURCE? THIS LESSON IS INCLUDED IN THE BUNDLE.
