Description

I love using simple sign language for my early language learners in order to build their communication skills! There are so many different resources out there and they all look different so I wanted a cohesive packet of simple signs that are perfect for introducing sign language to families.

I've put together 16 different slides that offer a picture and description for how to produce the sign. Each picture and description is from babysignlanguage.com. For more sign language assistance, go visit their website! These are helpful for taking to sessions and providing parents with a visual for each of the different signs.

*recommendation: print 4 slides to a page, laminate, cut them out, and place on a single binder ring for easy grab-n-go storage

This handout is phenomenal at providing images that are easy to follow to encourage parents to use baby sign language at home. As an SLP I'm using this handout for my parents that want more information and need to practice some simple signs to encourage communication with their children.

This is a great resource for early sign language! The pictures are very good and the signs are very common words used with early intervention. Thank you!

This resource helped staff know how to do the different sign language and I like that it had an explanation on how to do each sign.
