Give students the opportunity to learn about and practice writing ACE paragraphs- specifically focusing on citing and explaining their evidence. Answer, Citation, and Explanation sentences are defined and explained, and students are given the opportunities to identify these sentences, practice with their teacher, and then practice on their own. These worksheets were designed specifically for students to complete in Google Classroom, but can be modified for print versions as well.

I taught this information with 6th grade students, but it could be applied to upper elementary and middle school grades.
