Description
This Readiness Review of PreCalculus and Trig topicsis must-have for student success!
This resource is designed to prep your students for the rigors of AP Calculus BC (part 2) or College Calculus 2. My experience has shown me that even after Calculus 1, or AP Calculus AB, my students, even top students, were not prepared for the rigors of the algebraic and trig skills needed in Calculus 2. With a tight calendar, I don’t have a lot of time for review, and need to jump right in to new material within a few days. But, I need my students to realize they’d better get out those PreCalculus and Trig notes. They are going to need them!
This resource emphasizes the algebraic and trig skills needed for this rigorous course. It is not a review of Calculus 1 topics, but a review of many of the skills needed for students to succeed in Calculus 2/BC.
- Topics include: Trig equations, inverse trig functions, trig identities, partial fractions, asymptotes, conics, sequences, series, polar equations, and parametric equations. Please look through the preview.
Included:
- 40 carefully selected problems formatted in a traditional worksheet format with room for students to show work.
- 40 Task cards which match above problems. Note: you can vary the review by mixing and matching pages of the worksheet as a take home with the task cards. You can use as warm up, exit cards, or anything that works. Also works great for a sub day!
- Answer key
- Student response sheet, unnumbered so you can choose the cards you want.
