This circuit contains 26 problems that cover all of AP® Calculus Unit 4 – Contextual Applications of the Derivative (Derivatives in Context, Particle Motion, Linear Approximation, Related Rates, and L’Hopital’s Rule.) Many textbooks and teachers do not teach L’Hopital’s Rule this early in Calculus, so to provide for greater flexibility, a version of the circuit without the three L’Hopital’s Rule questions is provide. The other 23 problems are the same.

I give this circuit to my students at the end of the unit for review, but then give it to them again at the end of the year to prepare for the AP® Exam!

This circuit also makes for a great sub plan or emergency lesson plan!

What’s even better… Solutions are provided! Sometimes you just need something quick and easy to make life a bit easier, especially in the world of teaching Calculus! And while I do think teachers should work the circuits out themselves prior to giving to students (that way you can experience/encounter any algebra issues or common missteps), the solutions allow a nudge in the right direction if anyone gets stuck!
