How does it work?
Each Google Slides and topic are aligned to the Learning Objectives and the Essential Knowledges, as outlined by the AP Chemistry course guide*. Each Slides can be edited to make it unique for YOUR classroom!
How much class time will this unit take?
The unit will take approximately twelve to thirteen to 50-minute classes. The pace of the unit will depend on the class and their prior knowledge of chemistry.
How can I implement this product into my class?
There are many ways to incorporate this resource into your class. I use all of these methods every year!
- Traditional lesson: Guide students through the topics as a whole class. With breakpoints for questions, teacher-led examples, and practice problems for the class, you can work together to help to clear up or clarify any misconceptions right away.
- Flipped Classroom: Students can review the notes as a homework assignment, and class time can be used to complete an activity, complete a worksheet or problem set, complete a lab or activity, practice FRQs, or work on a project.
- Test and Exam Review: Students can review the slides as they review for a unit test or the AP Exam. These lessons will pair very well with the daily videos and practice problems available on College Board’s AP Classroom.
