Description
This science project outline is something I like to do during second semester of my AP Environmental Science class. This is a great semester long project to get the students to engage in the process of science with a topic that they are passionate about.
This follows the semester 1 ecocolumns project, so it provides them some independence with checkpoints and timelines to make sure they are progressing through the semester. Students will present their projects once the AP exam has been taken.
This includes a grading rubric and example. If they don't have a poster printer, I recommend having them compose a poster on a powerpoint slide and project it to the class. This is a great way for the students to show how the course connects to them.
