This is a great activity to gauge what students can do before (or just after) entering an APHG class for the first time. It has readings/videos for each unit tested on in APHG to introduce students to interesting topics. A worksheet and questions are attached for each reading. Readings include: Globalization (loss of U.S. manufacturing, world population growth, Ramadan fasting, Israeli-Palestinian conflict, GMOS, and cost of living in San Francisco
