This printable escape room is designed for use with AP® Psychology, Unit 2 Cognition Topic 2.3 Introduction to Memory. This escape room includes a reading that covers the content needed for Topic 2.3 in AP® Psych so no textbook, lectures, or outside knowledge is required for students to complete the escape room. It is designed to deliver the content in an engaging way while staying aligned to the AP® Psychology CED. The escape room includes:

This escape room is not digital- it is intended to be printed and used in-person. It works best with small teams of 3-4 students.

The difficulty level of the entire escape room is relatively high. Each key serves two purposes so students must follow their challenge directions very closely because wrong turns await them! Includes teacher instructions and answer key.

• Long-term potentiation (LTP) and the biological process for memory

• Levels of processing: structural, phonemic, and semantic
