This is the 16:9 version of my ppt. My school recently went to monitors and away from projectors. My monitor is a 16:9 so I have been adapting all my ppts to 16:9. I was going to sell both at the same price but the file size is too large so I have to market them separately.
I have marketed my Power Point presentations for some time as an entire collection at what I thought was a very reasonable price. I saw all this stuff that looked like junk and couldn’t figure out why mine were not selling…I knew mine were better. Well, at the price point I set, they were not eligible for sale on TPT School Access. The lightbulb finally goes off in my head, ok, I need to market my presentations individually at the correct price point.
So, here we have my Power Points presented individually. I have been teaching only psych for about 10 years now and so I have been able to devote a ton of time to them. These presentations are HEAVILY annotated, perfect for new teachers or people with multiple preps who don’t have time to read up on psychology on their own.
These Power Points are very straightforward. They do NOT contain fancy transitions and only limited animations. My philosophy is that just because Power Point can do something does not mean it is a good idea for a presentation in a real classroom. Also, I do not have any sounds, I do not want my presentations beeping at me and whatnot. They also often contain graphics and memes that I think are fitting but some might consider them a bit irreverent.
The Power Points also do not include polleverywhere or kahoots or other interactives. While all those things are awesome, they don't share well. I could include them but they would not work for you.
The way I use these is to print them out in “note-pages” style, punch them and keep them in binders. I have my binder on the counter on my media cart so I can reference all the extra material I have included and remember tons of cool stuff to tell my students about as I go through each presentation.
What you will find…
Slides: ~70 some hidden that you can choose to use or not based on your audience
Reference material slides: ~2
Green slides include links to my labs available here on TPT (these labs are not included in the price)
Yellow stars on slides indicate that there were past AP questions based on that point
Stop signs on slides I don’t want my students to write.
