Do you need an incentive for your students to turn in their AR Home Reading Log on time? My students will do anything to get a hold of one of these! You can change the raffle prize each week. I like to post it Monday morning on a white board. They love silly stuff like "sit on the teacher stool during...," "change the background on my teacher laptop," and "sit at my desk during..." It is fun to surprise them with a free book from Scholastic Book Orders or a snack. After the AR Home Reading Logs are collected on Monday morning, I quickly award tickets to those who qualify. Missing a parent signature? Forgot to include the AR level of the AR book? Ooops! No ticket. Saves me time passing logs back to kids to fill in the missing information.
