Description
The ASL Back to School Number Cards have multiple uses and addresses many math skills for the students to count pictures, count dots, sign ASL to match cards, count objects to match the number on the card by placing objects on the dots, or pick a card and count objects to match the number on the card.
One example of how this resource has been used:
Punch holes and place cards on a ring and use them to review counting, number identification, and signing when waiting in line or at the lunch table when some students are finished and others are not. Take advantage of the downtime and make this resource and others portable.

A list of suggested objects is provided for counting.
The ASL Back to School Number Cards have been created for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and other students with disabilities; however, this resource can be used in a general education inclusion classroom.
