The ASL Fall Math Activity Mats have been created for Deaf and Hard of Hearing and other students with disabilities; although, this resource can be used in a general education inclusion classroom. Use the ASL Fall Math Activity Mats with pumpkin and hay bale cut-outs to demonstrate one to one correspondence. For example, counting four pumpkins or hay bales to correspond with the number four on the Math Activity Mat. Alternative items are suggested to use with the laminated mats. The orange and yellow ASL and number frames can be used with the mats or used separately as a match game to match ASL to numbers. Contents of this file are: Cover, table of contents, 12 Fall Activity Mats, 24 orange and yellow frames with numbers and ASL cut-outs. One page of pumpkins and hay bales to be duplicated, directions, how to use ASL Fall Math Activity Mats and printing instructions. THE ASL FALL MATH ACTIVITY MATS ARE VERY FUNCTIONAL WITH A VARIETY OF USES. Example: show !:1 correspondence on activity mats, matching number frames to number activity mats, matching ASL frames to activity mats, matching ASL frames to number frames, sequencing number frames or sequencing ASL frames in sequential order or use frames with numbers and ASL as flash cards for identifying # or ASL.
