My students learned about absolute location a few months back, and from time to time (such as the week prior to winter break), I like to assign one of these activities as review. I find that students are getting better with their accuracy the more we do these, and because there are a variety of designs to choose from, students pick the activity with the right number they feel fits their comfort level.
