Description
Absolute Value Function Graph Transformation - Card Matching Game - Activity
My students find this activity a great way to learn all of the transformations of the absolute value function.
I give each student their own set (only 2 pages to print) or you can laminate a set for the classroom. The first page is great to learn all of the basic transformations, while the second page incorporates a combination of translations.
18 cards are included.
Printing instructions included.

This is a fantastic resource. Thank you for creating it!
Great practice for my students that was more interactive than just doing a worksheet!
Great Stuff! Both I am my students benefitted from using this purchase.
Great activity. I like using the card sort with the students in groups so that I can watch their thinking process and quickly make small corrections while walking around.
Great resource! My students were engaged and really enjoyed this! Thank you :)
Great for review
Great activity!
This was a fabulous activity except for the fact that I had to cut out everything myself prior to my students doing the work so that they would not see the answers. That works if you are going to laminate the cards for them in advance, but I like to give the sheets to my students and have them cut out the cards and match. I would appreciate another version where the answers are all mixed up so I can copy and give directly to the students to cut out. I wold buy more from this seller like this, but I would want to see this update first.
