Use this no-prep digital PowerPoint (or Google Slides™) lesson introduce absolute and relative location! Teach students what absolute and relative location are, practice applying the concepts with colorful maps, and identify different examples of each with an interactive activity! This makes a great introductory and reference lesson for your students. PERFECT for virtual, hybrid, or in-person learning!

- Slides that introduce both Absolute and Relative location
- Slides that explain when to use each kind of location
- An interactive activity where students practice identifying statements as examples of absolute or relative location - This will get your students up and moving!
DIRECTIONS FOR ACCESSING GOOGLE SLIDES™
(Easiest) Open the PPTX file and put it in presentation mode. Go to the second page and click on the green box at the bottom. This will bring you to a force copy page in Google™. Save a copy to your drive and start using it!
(Alternative) Open the PPTX file and go to the second slide. Right click the invisible box around the green rectangle. Click "Hyperlink" and "Open Hyperlink". This will bring you to a force copy page in Google™. Save a copy to your drive and start using it!
DIRECTIONS FOR OPENING LINKS ON THE CREDITS PAGE
Open the PPTX file and put it in presentation mode. Go to the last page where the credits are. Hover over different parts of the page to find links back to the different sellers' TPT stores, including mine!

Hello Abi!
I create this product for 2nd and 3rd grade. If you look at a product's specs (next to the prevew/cover photo that you see up top), you can see the grade level it is intended for. Knowing that information, I would love if you would consider re-reviewing the product with 2nd/3rd graders in mind. :)
