"This was an excellent resource! The instructions were easy to follow and no physical lab equipment or setup is required. A great way to adjust core-lab requirements to a single-pupil, at-home setting."

Description

This lab is for students to use in a remote setting.

Did you ever wonder why light color clothes are more popular in the summer and dark clothes are more popular in the winter? Well, you may find out that it is more than a fashion statement. Different surface absorb and radiate heat differently. Can you figure out which color absorbs and radiates heat more?

It includes a Google slide presentation with a description of the lab, text boxes for the students to enter data and type answers to questions and a graph for students to plot their data.

It also includes an .mp4 video to upload to your learning platform for the students to watch and record data. There are minute markers in the videos so the students know when to take a reading.

Students can fast forward and rewind the video if needed.
