Description

This is a great resource for students to use as a study tool when learning T-Accounts and Journal Entries. As educators, we know that understanding the rules of debits and credits is an essential foundation for grasping accounting concepts. This activity can serve as extra practice for intro to Accounting students or as a refresher for students who are taking their second-level accounting class. Topics reviewed include:

  • Classifications of accounts
  • Whether a debit or a credit increases or decreases an account
  • Normal balances
  • Journal Entries

This resource is in a slideshow format. An Answer Key Slide is located directly after each question slide, so students can check their work right away!

Note: I have used this activity in both my high school AND college classes... it is helpful for learners of any age!
