Description
The only supplies you need are tape measures for your class, enough so that a group of two can share one.
Students measure parts of their desks rounded to the nearest whole measurements and decide which unit is the most accurate. Students must also decide what happens to the desk overall given different situations/mistakes that could be made when constructing the desk. At the end, students are asked to produce at least two test questions about the activity given a list of words to use (describe, create, compare, etc.), plus explain why their questions would be good for the test.
