Description

Achieve 3000 notes to increase accountability and quality of students working to complete their goal of 2 articles a week.

These notes are structured into 2 days for each article:

Day 1 (Monday for Article #1 & Wednesday for Article #2)

Students will:

1. Read their article

Make prediction, picture walk (text features) & complete the before poll,

2. Interact with new vocabulary (the blue underlined words)

Selecting two of the blue underlined words and defining them

3. 5 w's

Day 2 (Tuesday for Article #1 & Thursday for Article #2)

Answer the activity questions using the chart:

1. Write and annotate the question

2.Circle the question type (QAR)

3. Answer (A,B,C,D)

4. Text evidence (Proof)

Support in the RELAX Strategy and QAR strategy included
