They are specifically written at two levels to allow lower level students to practice the basic concept and to challenge the higher level students to apply critical thinking skills. Each level of cards includes story problems. A student recording sheet and teacher answer key are included.

Good product, just wished it had also contained some subtraction problems, as I usually teach add/sub together.
Hi Deborah! There are subtract polynomials take cards available in my store just like these. I teach Algebra in my resource room and keep the two topics separate until they’ve gotten the idea of combining like terms before adding in the step of adding the opposites, this the reason these topics are separated in my store. In my co-teaching class though, we use both sets of cards and pull out half of each topic for them to do as an activity so I completely understand doing them at the same time!
Great for use as a quiz or test review.
