Fun activity to practice these skills !
The graphics are so good that I showed the problems on an overhead screen. The students completed each problem individually, and then we went over each question as a class.
My students LOVED this activity! They enjoyed taking pictures of their work and sharing it with me!
I loved this! It was super cute! My students always enjoy getting to use their Chromebooks to do assignments, so they were excited to complete this activity! #4 has a name typo; I didn't even notice when I was working it out, but a student came and asked me if it was supposed to be a trick question :)

Add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators (including mixed numbers) by replacing given fractions with equivalent fractions in such a way as to produce an equivalent sum or difference of fractions with like denominators. For example, 2/3 + 5/4 = 8/12 + 15/12 = 23/12. (In general, 𝘢/𝘣 + 𝘤/𝘥 = (𝘢𝘥 + 𝘣𝘤)/𝘣𝘥.)
