Teaching students to decompose numbers into tens and ones using expanded form is a useful strategy. This interactive Google Slides digital resource makes that strategy clear. 2.NBT.B.5 2.NBT.B.7

The directions are given in a gif which shows students exactly what to do. (See the preview video as an example.)

An editable Early Finishers slide links students to online games to continue practicing the skill.
