Are you looking for extra practice with standard math computation skills? This interactive, digital game set has 40 open-ended problems that cover adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. This is a Google Drive file that contains the same 40 questions as my black and white printable version. This product is in full color for the best Valentine's theme! This can be printed out but it is best used on computers or tablets.
The problems range in complexity so you can hand-select questions for advanced and struggling learners. I like to differentiate in Google Classroom by assigning only the slides that are appropriate for each learner. You can also assign the entire file or just parts of the file. The students will complete their work on another piece of paper and type their answer into the white boxes on each page.
This file contains an answer key, quick printing questions and an answer recording sheet. Each question is adorned with Valentine's Day themed clip art. A "suggested use" page is included as well, detailing how I use these strips with my class.
The file contains 3 different certificate options for students who master the content and earn 100% on the math challenge! This is a great motivator for students and a fun thing to send home to parents. It is available in color and black and white for your printing needs with a coordinating clip art to support the holiday theme.
Students will LOVE this fun game and creative format for studying basic 5th grade math skills. It's also a family-friendly format for parents who want extra practice for their kids.
