Description
This winter edition adding to 20 using 9 as an addend (9 + 8, 9 + 6, 9 + 3, etc.) BUMP game helps students practice addition facts fluency for second grade! There are 15 game boards so this can be used as a whole class to practice adding 9 when adding up to 20. Or it can be used as centers to help with math fact fluency. This package helps students practice mental math strategies to add to 20, all while having fun!
Included:
- 15 black and white + 15 color board games for adding to 20 using 9 as an addend
- 2 spinners (black and white + color) which can be printed multiple times to make all the spinners you need
Instructions:
- Each player starts off with ten tokens
- Player one will spin the spinner twice and add the two numbers together. Player one puts a token on the number.
- If a number has a token on it already from Player two, Player one can bump that token off.
- If a number has a token on it already from Player one, Player one can put an additional token and freeze that spot.
- Players alternate until one player has used up all the tokens
