Description

This game will help students learn basic addition facts by building things with blocks following rules on a task card.

All you need is a bucket of blocks, and the task cards included in this package. The addition facts range from Build 1 add 1 more, to build 13 add 10 more.

It includes 120 task cards with addition facts, and an instruction sheet.



Here is how to play:

Number of players: 1 child per set of blocks.
Goal: Children will use manipulatives to help learn basic addition facts.

Instructions:
1. Student will choose a card.

2. The card will tell the student how tall of a tower to build.


3. The student will follow the instructions on the card to build a tower.

4. The student will write on the card with a dry erase marker what the answer is to the addition question.

Note: You can write the answer to the addition question on the back of the cards so students can self assess (check their answer) immediately.
