This is an adding integers graphic organizer that can be used as a teaching aid, an independent assignment for students, or as a tool to re-mediate and/or review the skill of adding integers. It encourages students to think through and answer questions about each step involved in the process of adding two integers: Are the signs of the integers the same or opposite? Would I add or subtract the absolute values? Would the sign of my answer be positive or negative?. The file is saved as a PDF and contains the printable graphic organizer and a key.
