Description

A different and fun way to practice rational number facts with INTEGERS (adding facts) using BOOM Cards digital task cards. Sum squares provide the answers, students need to fill in all 4 boxes in the Sum Square to produce the correct sums across each row and down each column! It's a fantastic way to also practice addition fact fluency with positive and negative integers.

My students love these puzzles as they are way more engaging than the usual mad minute style practice. Even student who don't like math, enjoy these Sum Squares! I even have parents asking for more practice with these because they enjoy the challenge!

I used this as an enrichment for an after school algebra prep class. It worked as a great resource to get students thinking of adding integers in a unique way and problem solving!
