This resource includes guided notes for adding integers using two-color counters and number lines. There is also a page with a few problems to practice using both models. An answer key is included for the notes. The notes and practice pages are all sized to fit nicely in a composition notebook.

Pages are formatted for flexibility. Copy the notes and practice to cut and provide students as individual pages for their notebooks - OR - copy the practice on the back of the 2-page notes and students can fold to add to notebooks by gluing the blank section. Two versions are provided so that notes "booklets" can be used for either a right-hand or left-hand page in composition notebooks.
