Adding Integers Worksheet (grouped by signs)
Share

Description

I created a worksheet that has students practice the beginning concept of adding integers. I grouped the 35 questions by same signs +/+ and -/- as well as different signs -(greater absolute value or gav)/+, -/+ gav, +gav/-, +/-gav. This way it reinforces the concept that the rules to adding integers strictly focus on the signs and greater absolute value. It helps students understand that it does not matter what order the numbers are in when determing the value of the sum.
