Description

Are your students learning how to add mixed coins up to one dollar? Get students engaged and moving with this Adding Mixed Coins Task Cards/Scoot Game! This adding money activity can be used in many ways: a whole class math scoot game, an independent math write the room activity, or a fun small math group activity! It is perfect for any math lesson or math station!

Whether playing a scoot game, completing independent task cards, or participating in a math write the room activity, students will gain ample practice adding mixed coins! Students will practice adding combinations of Pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters to equal a total value of less than one dollar. Both color and black-and-white versions of the task cards are included. Use the black and white version to save ink or for a challenge - students can practice identifying and adding coins without seeing the color of the coins!

Here Is What Is Included:

  • Instructions
  • Task/Scoot Cards (Color Version)
  • Task/Scoot Cards (Black-and-White Version)
  • Student Recording Sheet
  • Answer Key

Please take a look at the photos and preview to sample this packet.

This was an easy set up and my kids had a blast roaming the room to find the different amounts. One suggestion-they go in sequence so I think some kids caught on that after pink would be pink, etc...so every other problem was easier :D
