Description

This editable foldable provides students with organized notes/ examples for adding rational numbers. I have broken it down into the following 4 tabs: decimals, fractions with a common denominator, fractions with an uncommon denominator, and mixed numbers. Within the foldable, I have further organized the examples by the sign of each rational number (examples with the same sign vs. different signs). Along with working the problem, there is a bit of space for students to take additional notes and make reminders for the process of adding rational numbers. I carefully wrote the problems to address every type of question they could encounter.

Perfect for interactive math notebooks! I use this type of assignment during whole group guided instruction, but it would also work great for intervention, small group, centers, or during a tutoring session.

This download includes a print + go PDF version, as well as the editable PowerPoint file. Download the preview to get a better look at the page setup and exact questions included!
