Description
Product Intent: This resource is designed for a 7th grade math unit focused on rational numbers. It provides practice with adding various types of rational numbers, including fractions, mixed numbers, decimals, integers, and both positive and negative values. Additionally, some of problems are in the context of a real-world situation aka a word problem. The activity is structured as a scavenger hunt, making it self-checking—students must locate their answer to continue to the next problem. If they can't find the correct follow-up, it signals a mistake that prompts them to revisit and revise their work.
Product Features:
- Page 1: Directions
- Pages 2-10: Scavenger Hunt Task Sheets

- When they are done solving a problem, have them find their answer in an answer box around the room.
- If they cannot find their answer that means they did not solve it correctly and need to fix their mistake.
