This digital resource allows for your students to practice adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers. This digital, Google Slides resource provides your students practice with this skill and provides IMMEDIATE feedback!

There are 10 multiple choice problems where students are told to view the assignment in presentation mode so they can easily click on the correct answer. If the answer is correct, the students will be taken to a slide that lets them know and then takes them to the next problem. If they are incorrect, it lets them know and allows them to go back to the problem to correct their answer. The assignment also asks students to track the questions they get correct (the first time) and incorrect, so you can see how well they did on the practice.

There are also 10 review questions that students can complete and submit for a grade (5 adding and subtracting fractions & 5 adding and subtracting mixed numbers - 2 of each type have students solve using pictures/models). The students must type their answers (fractions or mixed numbers) into the template provided. A link to the answer key is provided for teachers. You can also provide it as viewable link to students for self checking if you are not using the assignment for a grade.

This resource is best used in Google Classroom but can also be sent to students using another electronic method (they must have Google access).
