Review integer addition and subtraction with these fun self-checking task cards!

The 20 task cards included in this file are a great way for students to review adding and subtracting integers. Each task card has either a one or two step integer addition and/or subtraction problem on it.
These task cards are self-checking. Students start with any task card. The answer they get to that question will match the card number of another task card. The student then completes that card. This process repeats until students have completed all 20 task cards. The answer to the last task card they complete should match the card number of the first card they solved, making this activity completely self-checking!
These task cards make an excellent center (or station) activity, cooperative learning activity (by having students work in groups of 2 or 3 on the cards), or independent review before a test or quiz! They are very versatile!!
The 14 pages of this download include:
- cover page
- page of student instructions
- 5 color pages of task cards with 4 cards per page
- 5 pages of the black and white versions of the cards
- recording sheet

I love self-checking task cards because they allow students to quickly receive feedback on whether they are working the problems correctly or not. This was a great station.
