Basic Operation Block Puzzles

Block Puzzles are a great problem-solving challenge! Students must fill in digits 1-9 in the puzzles to make the six number sentences true. All four operations - adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing - are used to complete the puzzles. To add extra motivation, a riddle is introduced above the puzzles and the answer can be decoded by correctly figuring out where each digit is placed. PDF and digital versions included.

Basic Operations Cross Puzzles

Similar to crossword puzzles, these crossmath puzzles require students to find the correct symbols for the blank cells. Students will use all four basic operations - adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing - as they use context clues and problem-solving skills to figure out how to make each number sentence true. PDF and digital versions included.

Lattice Multiplication Puzzles

Lattice Puzzles provides a unique twist on calculating multiplication. Students complete each of the six multiplication puzzles in the cells and write the answers in the answer boxes. They then match the answers to those listed in the answer column on the right. Figuring out the riddles adds motivation. PDF and digital versions included.

Basic Operations Math Riddles

Students complete the problems in each cell and find the answers in the answer key on the left. The answers are matched with words which form the answer to the riddle. The student writes the answer to the riddle in the box at the bottom. PDF and digital versions included.

Adding and Subtracting Pyramid Puzzles

The Math Pyramids focus on addition and subtraction problem-solving. Students determine the values for the blank cells. This is done by recognizing that the value of a cell is made by adding the two numbers directly below it. PDF and digital versions included.

Basic Operations Triangle Puzzles

Students must determine the missing center number of the triangle by multiplying the two numbers on the left and then either adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing the number on the right. PDF and digital versions included.
