This inventory is a great tool to use. It can be used at the beginning of the year, throughout the school year as a check in to see where your students are, as review practice, or at the end of the year to see what areas you need to cover again. This inventory includes quick quizzes in the areas of place value, number sense, addition, and subtraction. These quizzes each also include an answer key. The problems in the quizzes are color coded to show the various grade levels they pertain to. (They are 3rd-5th grade). This way you can have your students only complete a portion or the whole thing to see what your students are capable of doing. This can also be used for older grades so you can access what areas your learners may need extra assistance in. The download includes a data recording sheet. This way you can easily see which areas your students are strong in, and which areas your individual students may need extra assistance in.
