In this activity, students will be answer 12 questions on adding and subtracting rational expressions. Students will cut the problems into strips. They will then add or subtract the rational expressions to simplify. If they get the problem correct, they will add it to their problem chain. At the end, they will be able to see how many problems they got in their chain. They can work individually or in groups to solve the problems.
