Keep or Pass is a fun and interactive way to reinforce or review content. It can be played in groups or between individual students. If the student(s) gets the correct addition and subtraction problem answer without regrouping or composing, they can choose to either KEEP or PASS the prize before the prize is revealed. The student or group of students with the highest amount of points in the end win. Used for students/children in the elementary school math classroom: kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade. Can be used as a classwork or warm up activity with the PowerPoint game.
Aligned with the Common Core State Standard CCSS.2.NBT.B.5 "Fluently add and subtract within 100 using strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction."
