What worked about these worksheets is that you can put in your own numbers and there is plenty of space for the student to work- unlike most worksheets which pushes too much together. When students are first learning (or re-learning) how to add with carrying or subtract with regrouping, it can really help to have the extra space.

We used this as a warm up to NWEA. It was helpful and it gave them confidence having seen problems like these before NWEAs.

This was just what I needed to help my first graders. I like how each place is seperated. It makes it much easier for my students.
