Description

This Building Thinking Classrooms style task duo brings in building, flexible thinking, and creativity while adding to 100 and 1000! Each task has four challenges, 3 levels of check your understanding, and a notes page so your students can reflect and deepen their understanding of addition strategies.

In this building thinking classrooms task, your students are given a variety of base-ten blocks and they have to first build something using the blocks, then use any strategy to figure out how many cubes are in the shape they built!

It's never been easier to get your students excited to add within 100 or 1000 using models, equations, place value and invented strategies!
