Description
This set consists of 32 cards – 16 are multiple choice and 16 involve straight computation. All questions pertain to adding and subtracting decimals to three decimal places. They’re a great tool for differentiation as half the cards require regrouping and half do not.
Though the cards were designed to align specifically with the Ontario Grade 6 curriculum expectations, they would be a great tool for differentiating in a grade 5 class, or used as a review in a grade 7 or 8 class.
The following is a detailed list of the cards’ contents:
* 4 cards adding decimals with no regrouping – multiple choice answer
* 4 cards adding decimals with regrouping – multiple choice answer
* 4 cards adding decimals with no regrouping – computation
* 4 cards adding decimals with regrouping – computation
* 4 cards subtracting decimals with no regrouping – multiple choice answer
* 4 cards subtracting decimals with regrouping – multiple choice answer
* 4 cards subtracting decimals with no regrouping – computation
* 4 cards subtracting decimals with regrouping – computation
Though the cards are designed with bright colours, they print out nicely in black and white too. I recommend printing on cardstock or regular printer paper, and then laminate the cards for added durability.

Great Resource
Love this resource! Great practice on adding/subtracting decimals! Great for center rotations!
good resource
These task cards were great to have students review decimal concepts at home. I posted them and had students work through them in their Math workbook and then check their work against the answer sheet. Thanks for these!
I love the arrangement of the lessons. Very creative good use of color and very appropriate for the age level
Thanks!
These were great for our review!
LOVE
Thank you SO much.. multiplying and dividing decimals are almost done if you're interested :D.
Colorful! This is wonderful practice for adding and subtracting decimals. This can be so hard for the kids. Thanks.
Agreed. This is such a difficult concept for them! Glad you like the cards.
