Use this engaging PowerPoint to challenge some of your learners and give them extra practice with adding within 10. This activity is perfect for beginners who are learning how to add and put together. A self check answer key is included and allows students to see the connection between putting together and creating an addition equation.

How to use:

USE THIS AS A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION OR CONVERT TO GOOGLE SLIDES BY UPLOADING TO YOUR GOOGLE DRIVE!

During Remote learning / online teaching / distance teaching

- You can present your screen during the slideshow and students can use manipulatives at home to add. They may also share their answer by showing their fingers, writing on paper or whiteboards.

- You may also assign certain slides to students as a worksheet/activity or quiz. Add a text box for them to type their answer. Delete the slides you don't want to use and remember to make a copy for every student.

In-person: You can play the PowerPoint on Smart Board, and any device compatible with Powerpoint or Google Slides

- as Guided Practice during a lesson

- create a timer and challenge the students to solve the problem within seconds

- during math centers

- fluency practice

You can print the slides and use them as a
