This pack of addition color code task cards can help students practice their fact fluency in a fun way! Different from most color code activities, this pack uses task cards to get students to solve problems and show their work by using the correct color code.

Students will select one task card at a time, solve the problem, and find the matching equation on their paper to write and color the sum. You could laminate the task cards and have students write the answer with a whiteboard marker as well to help them check their work before they color in the space on the recording sheet. Once students have solved and colored all the equations on their paper, it will reveal a hidden number. Once the hidden number is revealed, students will write the number word for that hidden number in the empty box near the top of the page.
