One of the best things you can do for your students is ensure they are fluent in their addition facts. I needed a consistent way to monitor my students' progress and I needed data to show their improvements. So, I created this - 23 weeks worth of fact fluency practice.

Students will be given time to practice a set of addition facts (either one at a time or a mixture of facts to spiral review) Monday through Thursday. On Friday, students take an assessment that can go in the gradebook. This can either be worked on in a math center with a timer and a partner, or can quickly be done whole group. (I begin math with this each day - it is routine to the kids and they love the consistency).

I have also created a checklist to keep track of the facts we have covered (and spiraled). I have also created a tracking sheet to keep data on individual students (to take to RTI meetings), and a tracking sheet to keep data about how the class is performing as a whole each week.
